Job Summary:

Our state-of-the-art sleep clinic is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced care in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with sleep disorders. The NP will work closely with sleep medicine physician and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed health histories and physical examinations with a focus on sleep health.
• Diagnose and manage sleep disorders such as insomnia, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and restless legs syndrome.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, such as polysomnograms (sleep studies) and multiple sleep latency tests.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that include pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Prescribe medications and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy, and provide guidance on other therapeutic modalities.
• Provide patient and family education on sleep hygiene, lifestyle modifications, and the management of sleep disorders.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in research and stay updated on the latest advancements in sleep medicine.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
